Saturday, August 3rd: Light and Fire Festivities
Experience the magic of winter with enchanting lantern parade, mesmerizing fire and music.
Indulge in our signature poffertjes, drizzled with Canadian Grade A Organic Dark Maple Syrup, butter, and pure icing sugar. Enhance your experience with our delectable toppings like strawberry coulis, Nutella, and freshly sliced bananas.
Grab a drink from the Winterfest Bar and find Ally Row playing in the Tipi as the Lantern Parade ends. These two are breaking the barriers of genres with toe-tapping yet emotive music.
In 2023, they were the winners of the Triple J Unearthed NYE on the Hill Fest Competition, Port Fairy Folk Festival Busking Competition and Semi-Finalists in the Listen Up Music Songwriting Prize for their single ‘Bare feet.’

Also lined up for an amazing night is Skazz in the Shire Hall
Skazz is a double barrel mix of two blistering musical styles, Ska and Jazz, played by 8 of the sharpest shooters in Australia. It’s a tempting and infectious beat, with an urgency that propels people onto the dance floor.
Skazz have played to packed audiences at numerous festivals in Australia and overseas. The Commonwealth Games, Apollo Bay Music Festival, Federation Square, The Famous Spiegeltent, St Kilda Festival, Queenscliff Music Festival, Noumea’s annual “Live En Aout” Music Festival, The Australasian World Music Expo and a very successful tour of Korea.
